You seem to be throwing away all of these peoples help they're giving you and you're basicly saying "the way I do it seems better, your 5 minutes writing this was pretty wasted, cheers."

They way Chris-G1 has done is pretty much spot on, and he is just showing you what the proportion should look like, Not " oh just forget the style you're doing already and use this style instead." no he is telling you to use it as a guide, use his base as a proportion guide, it will really help you in the long run :). Also the ears are too Elf looking regardless of view you are trying to pull off here, every view will make the ears look the same, except for a pixel or so bigger or smaller. your base looked like it got thrown into an oven and left in over night to develop skin cancer ( not to sound mean :3 ). Unless you are trying to make elf/humans and so on for the mob bases then thats all good, but normal human ears should just be the normal regardless of the view.

Sorry if I sounded like i'm having a rant, I'm not, i'm just waiting for my Aion game to finish downloading so I stumlbed apon this, reading all the threads and such and decided to take it apon my self to write something that could hopefully help, probably not but oh well, hopefully you don't get the wrong idea of what I have said and take it as some sort of offence, have a great day ;).

Actually, he just sounds like he is satisfied with his own work and/or it fits his goals more efficiently.

Um OK but I really think you should read this thread over before you reply if you do. First I didn't throw away any help I actually did improve on the piece and the only parts that I actually did not change was the Ears because again from my point of view I like the ears. I didn't tell them that there 5 minutes or more writing there own Advice was wrong I was just replying to them Correctly with my own answers to Kuraudo I just simply told him that I already knew my base Palette was orange and I Explained I already changed the Palette and that the Orange Palette was only for the Outline phase to see how good the shade would work with the Base and with Chris I only said that his way of Art is different really from what I'm trying to do and yes I know what he was trying to teach me The Correct proportion but I already am Satisfy with it and as I said in my other post if I see anything wrong with it in the future I will fix it. Thanks for Expressing your Opinion and i hope you have a Perfect day.

PS. Don't worry I didn't take it as any kind of Offense I took it as your way of saying your confuse of what I'm trying to do and why I turned down some advice and not others of course correct me if I'm wrong.

What is the point in posting this if you are already satisfied with it?

You Obviously haven't been Reading and please if your not posting anything helpful don't post at all.
:3 is this the topic where you posts your edits and win a prize ???;O

Anyways, You probably don't need/like/want my edit but I just wanted to point you in the right direction. I took the liberty of editing your base... or destroying it ...

The style of my edit isn't nesccesarily( spell check on this ;/) what you are going for, but the purporse is to show you the porportions and perspective in which you should consider making your base in.

Eh not so good to completely change it as a learning curve rather then easing the point to the guy lol but that's pretty well shaded i have to say.

I, and others, have given him advice that he has heeded to, so overall this thread has been productive and helpful for Kirus..

Well, It wasn't much of an edit but more of showing one way of how it could of been done.

Na man, he changed the neck and legs completely.

Again the fact that people don't realy understand what they've read is confirmed. MdNight's example is a good 3/4 perspective from which we all should learn.

MDNight : I did however change the arms as yours seemed not a 3/4 like the rest of the body, and the feet a titsy bitsy.

Kirus: I've changed the shape a bit, as an aexample and I have applied MdNight's pallete and a bit redone the shading.
