Wooden floor and a steel bar. [C&C needed]

Perhaps if you would get rid of the gradient like colouring, add some texture and less saturated colours it would look more realistic.
Unless this is the style you want.

You could look in my WIP thread if you want to see some examples of how to texture wood. Once I find a good way to get a good metal bar look, I will tell you.

Also, on the bar, you really can't tell what perspective it is from. If your going for 3/4, you have it wrong. :D

I made a new wood floor, and touched up to the steel bar. Any better this time?

You messed up on the perspective of the steel bar, you made both sides able to be seen, that's impossible unless the bar is bent which doesn't seem to be the case. You should change one of the sides and then maybe add a light source. Can't say much about the wood floor because never really tried to do wood before lol so I'll leave that to the pro's, check out Reex's wooden floor WIP or look around for some tutorials for that.

Reeex's WIP looked more like a piece of wood as opposed to a wooden floor.
