I was wondering for a way that I could go about coloring the blue part of the building, but any CC is welcome.

So, how would I go about changing the perspective, unless I were to start over, keeping this in mind?

You wouldnt have to start over but youd need to edit the top part of the roof.

No, nothing like that, all you did was add a second part to the top. change the entire thing's perspective. You should be able to see that, AND the half or the roof behind the top.
