I would keep the light source to the top left, and the mob is small, so choose ether the chest or the belly button.

Aside from that, nicely done.

Hmm... Thats pretty good, i would reccomend, making spine less solid, not as much stuff going on in front stomach/chest area. And, make the colors spread out a little more, makes it pop out a little...

Otherwise, like the shape and animations ^^

With Photoshop/Graphics Gale, or any other program that supports gifs.
