In the above, the man actually looks more like he's jogging, than running - that is to say, it looks more like he's bouncing back and forth from one foot to the other.
I'll use a demonstration of the Amazing Multi Colored Man, and show you some running animation. Notice that the arms are moving, the head bobs up and down, and the legs have a sense of stride to them as the Amazing Multi Colored Man charges forward toward the screen. Now, keep in mind, since I'm just working with colored blurbs, instead of actual details, you lose a certain sense of action to the involved - that is to say, alot of the attempt for anatomy and movement gets lost because of single blocks (noticeable, for example, in the legs) So a more proper visual, using the same basic concept. (This one uses a two frame animation, instead of a four) |

The second attempt looks worse because you got the ears and the arms behind his entire body. If you want to keep that you have to show the other leg(the leg we cant see) and pull off something isometric.
When working with bases your own body is the best reference. |

Hmm. Identical heads, feet, and hands. However the body and legs are different shapes. If it weren't for the colors being the same I would have let this go, ah well.

i would keep working on the front state first
i edited it alittle but the rest is up to you.
