This issue may be low priority or very difficult to fix, and has been put on the back burner for the time being.
Frequently, at random, I see people including myself 'Popping' out of their clothes for a fraction of a second. It's quite distracting.

I can only imagine this being a consequence of switching to a truly SIDE_MAP perspective to go along with pixel movement. There have been strange layering issues associated with that map_format.

Has it happened recently? The server's BYOND version updated recently so some glitches and other BYOND bugs have been fixed.

I can confirm it still happens, albeit not as frequently.

This is a BYOND bug that I've known about for awhile. It does have to do with SIDE_MAP, I've seen numerous bug reports on it, saying it's resolved, evidently not yet. We're just going to have to bear with BYOND until they can fix it.
