Why isn't it possible to control the transparency of any element(like buttons, labels etc.)?, i would guess many game creators would love to ability to manipulate elements transparency...i know im dying for an option like that now XD.

Short answer: Because Microsoft has all the foresight of a deaf bat. They only ever really implemented transparency properly for whole windows, not for controls. There are ways of faking transparent controls in a more static environment, and sometimes in cases where one has greater control over how an item is painted, but on the whole there's no way to do this in a highly dynamic environment like a BYOND skin.
