You probably should post any code related to the error. My guess is that screwed up a proc that's supposed to activate when you click an object.

This sounds like a potential bug to me. If you can't find any source that explains it, I would suggest zipping up your source code and getting it to me so I can take a look.
Also: Which version did you compile in, and which are you running in? |
