Sorry it took me a bit to look into this one. From what I can tell this is happening in a deep part of our code. It looks like there was an attempt to send a map to a broken link, but this shouldn't cause a crash unless some data has gotten corrupted. Ultimately I suspect this boils down to the same heap corruption that's causing your freeze/crash issues.

I'm gonna mark this unverified for now, since I have no idea how to reproduce it and there doesn't appear to be a true cause for me to track down.
