I got bored, so I made this. I got bored of it, so I decided to upload it. This is a start at cloning LUFTRAUSERS.
Left/Right arrow keys to turn. Up arrow key to boost. X to shoot. |

After playing some more Luftrausers, I was motivated to give this a bit of polish. To the game, that is; not the code.

The shape is formed in plane.UpdateShape(). The body, wings, and tail pieces are all separate overlays that are scaled depending on the angle of the plane. You can disable this scaling if you want to always/never see the wings. I'm more again just disappointed that you fail to see the usability issue here again. Zecronious: (Jul 6 2015, 11:39 pm)
I don't know what that is but that's not the generally accepted way of 2D plane shooters.
In the same way it doesn't make sense to fly constantly on your side like you're about to make a turn. The icon just doesn't relate to what I'm trying to make it do. Zecronious: (Jul 6 2015, 8:21 pm)
That rotation just looks all wrong. It's hard to describe. I don't know how you did it. Looks like the plane is doing barrel rolls or something.

Why does it rotate around the nose of the plane? Is that one of the bugs you mentioned?
